OUR WORK
Our commitment to justice begins from evidence documentation,
providing the necessary foundation for legal accountability, advocacy, and securing remedies for victims.
We collaborate with survivors to gather detailed testimonies, supported by corroborating evidence, that paint a vivid picture of the exploitation and abuse they have endured.
In Kenya, we have documented 250 cases of women migrant domestic workers abused in Saudi Arabia to demonstrate that slavery persists, is widespread and systematic, and constitutes a crime against humanity.
EMPOWERING WOMEN ADVANCING JUSTICE
Our special focus is on women, who face unique and severe vulnerabilities that exacerbate their risk of human rights violations.
Why women are more susceptible to injustice?
Because of challenges as economic dependence, cultural discrimination, inadequate legal protections, lack of education, and exposure to gender-based violence.
At Global Justice Kenya, we are committed to addressing these specific vulnerabilities and ensuring that women, as well as all victims, have access to effective remedies and justice.
We work side-by-side with women survivors, focusing on the particular needs and challenges they face, empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to promote gender equality and foster a just society where all individuals can live free from fear and oppression.
